Some words from our friends
Makes for a great work event, party, or just a nice evening after work to golf solo, or with some of your friends. When you aren’t golfing, they have ping pong, corn hole and TV’s to tune into. They also have a bar with a great beer and wine selection, and a menu full of great bites. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back.
Came here with a group of guys and reserved 2 simulators. Fantastic time. Great staff- very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Neat concept. Cool crowd. Generous pours. Just take my money.Came here for an event called “Women, Wine and Nine.” Hadn’t golfed in years and was my first time at a simulator. I’ve gotta say - it was really cool. I sorta gave up golfing because it is such a trek from the city and then you’ve got the winter months. I’ve tried Chelsea Piers before but you go there to grind with bro squads rather than unwind and have fun so haven’t been back since my initial trip. This place is different - it eases you in to a relaxed and laid back atmosphere with a well stocked bar, ping pong table and loungey couches. Having a bountiful Murrays Cheese spread and some spectacular guac also added to the feel-good vibe. There were an assortment of folks there - some newbies, some rusty has-beens (me!) and every mix inbetween. I was able to work on my short and long game (read: re-learn how to swing a club after 5 years outta practice) and connect with some cool ladies with a common interest. Will definitely be coming back and bringing my crew.
I’m a former golf student of Mike Doyle’s and once I heard he was opening up his own golf simulator place, I was thrilled. Mike is an absolute pro and he’s one of the best intructors I’ve ever worked with. I went last week for my first lesson and the place is incredible. They have multiple simulators, a ping pong table, and soon to be bar. Great place to go, even if you’re not taking lessons, just to hit around, practice, or hang with friends. I can’t wait to go back!
Exceptional experience and very cool venue! Solid beer selection and the food menu was top notch. The place has the feel of a start up with a low key minimalistic atmosphere, yet also has high tech simulators and knowledgeable staff. Five Iron seems like a great place for both post work happy hour drinks and getting much needed practice/reps for more serious golfers.
As much as I’d love to leave a 1-star review for my own selfish reasons (I don’t this place to get too popular!), I have to admit; they do it right. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and solid facility.
Incredible facility, great staff, even better experience.
First review I’ve ever written. The staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful, the golfing and atmosphere is perfect. Time flies in here, book an hour more than you think you want.
